Montcalm Community College’s Greenville campus is growing, with construction of its new advanced technology center continuing on schedule.

Contractors broke ground on the site in May, where the 17,095-square-foot building will become a learning destination for students pursuing health careers and advanced technology training. The center is located on the 15-acre former home of the Montcalm County 4-H Fair on Hillcrest Street south of Greenville High School. The college purchased the property two years ago.

Features in the new building will include technology labs for advanced manufacturing applications, flexible classrooms for access to university-level courses, community areas featuring computer stations for student and public use, inviting spaces to conduct informal meetings and wireless high-speed Internet connection.
