Explore ‘The History of Heritage Village’

Learn about “The History of Heritage Village” with MCC Dean of Instruction and Faculty Dr. Gary L. Hauck, on June 1 from 10 a.m. to noon in room D305 in MCC’s Beatrice E. Doser Building on the college’s Sidney campus.

It is the final presentation in MCC’s Spring Life-Long Learners Educational Series, and features slides and narrative tracing the formation and development of Montcalm Heritage Village as researched by Dr. Hauck. Participants will explore the progression of the vision of Heritage Village from two buildings to more than 25 structures during its 25-year history and learn about the people behind the scenes.

Hauck earned his PhD from Michigan State University and has taught humanities in the United States, Russia, China and Ecuador. He is the author of 15 books. The most recent, “The Story of Heritage Village,” is available through Barnes & Noble and Amazon.
