Helen Simonson, author of this year’s One Book One County Montcalm selection, “Major Pettigrew’s Last Stand,” will give a witty talk about her book and what inspires her as a writer during the One Book closing celebration on Oct. 16.
The program is from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Greenville High School Performing Arts Center in Greenville. A book signing will follow the presentation. Admission is free.
