M-TEC Partners with Michigan Rehab
The Stanley & Blanche Ash Technology and Learning Center, more
commonly known as M-TEC, has partnered with Michigan Rehabilitation
Services to provide technical training for individuals seeking to
return to the workplace. Connie Ensing, local Director for Michigan
Rehab states “I am so excited about the opportunity to work
with M-TEC and to place our people in programs where they can learn
skills to enhance their employability. The flexibility of the M-TEC
programs offer our clients a multitude of opportunities to learn
at their own pace and at times that meet their needs.”
Leslie Anne Wood, coordinator of activities at M-TEC, agrees. “The
individuals who have benefited from the training M-TEC has to offer
have done extremely well. Several have mastered various computer
programs in a relatively short time. This should expand their job
search outlook.”
Some of the areas that individuals can seek training in are: receptionist,
clerical support, electricity basics, computer technology, customer
service, and accounting. To learn more about how your organization
can partner with M-TEC, contact Wood by phone at (616) 754-7706
or by e-mail at lesliew@montcalm.edu.
