Counseling &
Career Services
Licensed professional counselors are available to assist students
throughout the academic year. Course advisement, testing and interpretation,
special needs, tutoring, career exploration and career decision-making,
referrals and other counseling services are available. Personal
career counseling and career interest testing are available to students
who are undecided about which college program or career to pursue.
Appointments may be made by calling the Counseling & Career
Services Office at (989) 328-1231.
Career information and employment research materials including
occupational descriptions, salary estimates, occupational outlook
forecasts and employer directories are available to students through
the career library. Books and videotapes about the job search process,
resume writing and interviewing are available for students and alumni
seeking employment. Current Michigan college and university catalogs,
course transfer equivalency guides and other reference books are
available for students planning to transfer to another college or
university. The career library is located in the Counseling &
Career Services Office.
