Montcalm Community College
New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is a key element to your success as a college student. You will learn strategies that will help you get off to a good start. You'll discover how to avoid potential problems and where to find help when you need it.

Because MCC is committed to your academic success, we require that all new students attend an orientation session.* Please register for an in-person session using the form below or go to orientation online . If you prefer, you may register by e-mail at admission@montcalm.edu. Keep a copy of this page for reference.

In-person Orientation sessions will last about 1 1/2 hours. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early and stay for the entire time to get the greatest benefit from the session. Allow about 30 minutes for online orientation.

Students who have successfully completed 15 or more semester hours or 21 term hours at another college or university, are taking only courses with the ARTS or PHED prefix, or are taking classes for audit only, may be exempt from attending orientation, but are encouraged to attend.

Seating is limited to 40 per session. Reserve now to ensure your place.
