MCC students collect “Dreamin’s Free” stamps by attending MCC events, using MCC facilities and visiting various businesses and organizations in the communities the college serves.

An essay contest, which challenges students to tell about their dreams and how MCC is helping them achieve their dreams, offers a cash prize of up to $500. The 2014 Dreamin’s Free essay contest honorees are Melanie Tompsett, of Greenville, who placed first; Trisha Klunder, of Pierson, who placed second; Kristie James, of Ionia, who placed third; and Kaleigh Vanderlip, of Coral, who placed fourth. Please click each of their names to read their essays.

A “dream tree” is located on the wall in the upper level hallway in MCC’s Instruction East Building, located on the college’s Sidney campus. Students are encouraged to share their dreams on a leaf and hang it on the tree.
