Dreamin’s Free

“Dreamin’s Free” at MCC helps students identify their dreams and plan the steps necessary to achieve them.

MCC students collect “Dreamin’s Free” stamps by attending MCC events, using MCC facilities and visiting various businesses and organizations in the communities the college serves.

An essay contest, which challenges students to tell about their dreams and how MCC is helping them achieve their dreams, offers a cash prize of up to $500. The 2013 Dreamin’s Free essay contest winners are Rachel Gilbert, of Trufant, and Heather Hopkins, of Howard City. Honorable mention recipients include Angela Hansen, of Greenville, and Joseph Wodarek, of Six Lakes.

A “dream tree” is located on the wall in the upper level hallway in MCC’s Instruction East Building, located on the college’s Sidney campus. Students are encouraged to share their dreams on a leaf and hang it on the tree.
