PERSONAL:
Jim Fatka received the Leslie K. Morford Faculty Recognition Award
in 1993.
In addition to teaching, his primary passion is tournament bridge.
He writes articles for International Popular Bridge Monthly, a United
Kingdom magazine.
Keenly interested in blues, jazz, contemporary fiction, film, and
Middle Eastern politics, he enjoys dining well with his wife Sue
Ellen Pabst and stepson Gabe.
Experiences in Peace Corps and teaching overseas have left him
with a lifelong interest in other cultures and values.
