PERSONAL:
Research interests: My graduate work looked at how dietary components
regulated gene expression. It focused on dietary fats and genes
involved in obesity and fat synthesis.
Place of birth: Coldwater, Michigan. I have 3 brothers and a sister.
I grew up on a farm near Ovid, Michigan.
Hobbies: Farming, reading, walking my dog, learning to remodel my house,
gardening, playing cards.
Passions and little known facts: My dog was a graduation gift from
my dad. Her name is PHD=pretty happy dog. I call her Happy.
She is the best gift I have ever had. Someday I'll get her a pal
and name her Joy. :)
