PERSONAL:
Karen Lincoln received the Leslie Morford Faculty Recognition Award
in 1992. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the nursing honor society
and the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses.
She is a volunteer with the Gratiot Community College Hospital Auxiliary,
the Alma Symphony Orchestra, the Alma College Alumni Association,
Habitat for Humanity and participates in many church-related activities.
She enjoys singing as a member of a semi-professional trio, church
choir and in many other vocal opportunities, participates in community
theater, tap dancing and several outdoor activities including golf,
cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, boating, hiking and camping.
She has great interest in music and women's health issues. She and
her husband of thirty years have three children and three grandchildren.
They are presently building a house on Drummond Island, doing all
of the work themselves.
