- Earn college credit now with classes you're taking today.
- Prevent repetition in college courses of material you
were exposed to in high school.
- Reduce the cost of a college education.
- Take advantage of opportunities for advanced study.
Articulated credit is available for
these MCC offerings:

What is Articulation?
Articulation is a process where students earn college credit
for certain courses they take in high school. It blends high
school and community college courses, granting equivalent
college credit to students achieving specific competencies
(grades) in identified courses within the local school district.
In order to qualify, the student must demonstrate competency
or achievement levels (minimum 80%) from high school in all
classes for which articulation credit is being requested.
The student must enroll at Montcalm Community College within
26 months following high school graduation.
How do I get articulated credit for my high school vocational-technical
courses?
Check with your local high school counselor to determine
which courses are eligible for articulation. You may also
access a list of partcipating high schools and career centers
here. Click on the name of your high school or career
center and you shall be directed to the courses that you may
articulate.
Ask your high school to forward a program articulation application,
student competency list, and high school transcript to the
Montcalm Community College Enrollment Services Office.
Submit a Montcalm
Community College admissions application. You will receive
an acceptance letter admitting you to the college. Your articulation
application cannot be processed unless you apply to the college. When these steps have been completed you will be issued a transcript.
What are my next steps?
Meet with a Montcalm Community College counselor to discuss
an area of study. Verify your articulation application packet
has been received by MCC's Enrollment Services Office.
Attend a new student orientation program which provides all
placement testing and advising needed prior to enrollment.
