Admission
Policy
Applicants for admission to degree or certificate
programs must possess a high school diploma or GED certificate
or meet the requirements of the colleges ability
to benefit policy. Admission to the college does not guarantee
admission to academic programs which have specific entry requirements.
Montcalm Community College
complies with applicable federal and state laws prohibiting discrimination,
including Title IX of the education amendments of 1972, Section
504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities
Act of 1990 and the Michigan Handicappers Civil Rights Act.
It is the policy of Montcalm
Community College that no person; on the basis of race, sex, color,
religion, national origin or ancestry, age, marital status, height,
weight, disability or Vietnam-era veteran status; shall be discriminated
against in employment, educational programs, activities, or admissions.
In addition, arrangements can be made to ensure that the lack
of English-language skills is not a barrier to admission or participation.
