OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS
To receive financial aid or any college degree, Federal regulations
require that you provide MCC Addmissions with proof of high
school completion or GED. Transcript
Request Form to request an official copy of your transcript.
Also request official transcripts for all post-secondary institutions
you have attended.
ASSESSMENT Minimum test scores (ASSET or COMPASS, some ACT scores
may apply) in reading, writing and math are required for many
courses. See the Testing
Schedule for times and call 989-328-1264 for an appointment.

COMPETENCY TESTING
Competency testing is available to meet some course requirements
or advance placement. Call 989-328-2111, ext. 311, to schedule
CMIS testing. Call 989-328-1264 to test for biology or algebra.
REGISTRATION
Register for your classes by completing web registration at
www.montcalm.edu/online or submit
a Registration
Form to MCC Student Services (refer to the Registration
Schedule for mail and phone in dates and times). Review
the most current class schedule
for course selection.
PAYMENT
Your registration is not complete until you pay your tuition
and fees or turn in your deferment from Financial Aid.

TEXTBOOKS
Books and supplies may be purchased from MCC’s Bookstore
or at the MCC Bookstore online.
ORIENTATION You must participate in orientation
prior to registration at MCC. The requirement
for New Student Orientation can be completed ANYTIME after
you apply for admission. It will introduce you to
MCC services and resources that are available to facilitate
your success as a student at MCC. Complete our orientation
program online, sign up for in-person orientation
by completing and returning the New
Student Orientation form, or print and complete the paper version of the New Student Orientation.
ACADEMIC COUNSELING
You are encouraged to meet with a counselor prior to enrollment
at MCC (you must meet with a counselor prior to your second
registration at MCC). Schedule an appointment with Jim Lucka or Brandy Bunting by calling 989-328-1266 or with Dr. Charlotte Fokens by
calling 989-328-1264. Before this appointment, complete all assessment and competency
testing and allow time for all of your school transcripts
to be received by MCC.
