MCCF Scholarships

Applications for the 2014 summer and fall semester MCCF Ash Foundation Scholarships are being accepted now.

For every two contact hours purchased, MCCF Ash Foundation Scholarship recipients receive one free at the in-district rate up to a value of $500.  The scholarships are available to students who are residents of the Belding, Carson City-Crystal, Central Montcalm, Greenville, Lakeview, Montabella, Tri-County or Vestaburg public school districts.  Scholarships are not available to students who receive other gift aid or grants covering, or whose employers pay, half of more of their semester bills.

Students will need a printout of their NetPartner Financial Aid award screen to apply.  Notifications are sent to students’ e-mail addresses when their Financial Aid file has been processed.

The MCCF Beth Anderson Memorial Current or Returning Student Scholarship
for current or returning MCC students who complete at least 6 MCC credit hours and demonstrate community or college service and academic achievement.

for new MCC students who demonstrate academic achievement and community service.

The MCCF Doris M. Arntz Scholarship
for students who are pursuing an MCC occupational program.

The MCCF Stanley & Blanche Ash Scholarship
for in-district high-school current-year graduates who have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

The MCCF Ash Foundation Scholarship
for new or returning MCC students who reside in the Carson City-Crystal, Central Montcalm, Greenville, Lakeview, Montabella, Tri County, Vestaburg or Belding public schools district.

The MCCF Clifford J. Bedore Scholarship
for an MCC student residing in the MCC district.

The MCCF Travis L. Bingaman Memorial Scholarship
for a current-year Central Montcalm High School graduate who has a minimum 2.0 GPA.

The MCCF Duane W. & Georgia A. Bohne Scholarship
for a resident of the Montabella Community Schools district who holds a minimum 3.0 GPA.

The MCCF Louise D. Buescher Scholarship
for MCC students enrolled in at least 6 credits.

The MCCF Donald C. Burns Presidential Scholarship
for students who are at least 25 years of age, have completed at least 6 credits in a degree program and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA.

The MCCF Robert Campbell Memorial Scholarship
for an MCC student enrolled in a business-related course or program.

The MCCF William & Harriette Cook Scholarship
for new MCC students who enroll in 6 or more MCC credits.

The MCCF Judy K. DeVolder Nutt Scholarship
for students who have completed at least 6 credit hours and are pursuing a nursing degree.

The MCCF Festival Scholarship
for dual-enrolled students.

The MCCF Dr. Gordon DeVries/Dr. Thomas Deurloo Scholarship
for students who have completed at least 6 credit hours and are pursuing a nursing degree.

The MCCF Beatrice & Manfred Doser Memorial Scholarship
One Doser scholarship is for students demonstrating academic achievement and who are planning to major in chemistry or engineering. The second is for students demonstrating academic achievement and exhibiting exceptional leadership to MCC and/or the community through volunteerism.

The MCCF Nancy Steele Allen Edwards Memorial Nursing Scholarship
for first -year associate degree nursing students with a minimum 2.5 GPA. The scholarship is renewable for a second year if the recipient continues to meet scholarship criteria and requirements to progress in the ADN program.

The MCCF Mildred Farmer-Angwin Scholarship
for a graduate of Greenville High School who is pursuing a nursing degree.

The MCCF Harold & Ruth Force Family Scholarship
for single-parent students who have completed at least one MCC credit with a minimum 2.0 GPA.

The MCCF Nancy Fox Scholarship
for a single-parent student enrolled in a degree program who takes at least one art class.

The MCCF Don & Emma Goodell Scholarship
for an MCC student. Preference may be given to a Belding High School graduate.

The MCCF Mr. & Mrs. John Hathaway Scholarship
for a Tri-County High School graduate who holds a minimum 2.0 GPA.

The MCCF Grace Anne Hatto-Adler Memorial Scholarship
for current MCC students pursuing a degree in health care. Preference may be given to a student who has experienced the death of his or her child or sibling.

The MCCF Anna Hertz-McCoy Memorial Scholarship
for new, current or returning MCC students. Preference may be given to a student enrolling in a foreign language course or MCC’s study abroad program.

The MCCF Erin Kae Kitchenmaster Scholarship
for a full-time, single-parent student pursuing an associate’s degree in nursing who earned or will earn in May an MCC practical nursing certificate. The applicant must have earned a minimum cumulative 2.5 MCC GPA.

The MCCF Allen & Janet Kohn Scholarship
for new, current or returning MCC students.

The MCCF Kenneth J. & Gail E. Lehman Scholarship
for students pursuing a career in biology who hold a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrates good citizenship.

The MCCF MCC Employee Endowed Scholarship
for students enrolled in at least 6 credits.

The MCCF MCC-ESPA Scholarship
for full-time students enrolled in a degree or certificate program who have completed at least 12 credits with a 2.5 minimum GPA.

The MCCF Ardene (Diz) Oswald Memorial Scholarship
for students pursuing an occupational program who demonstrate good citizenship and hold a minimum 2.0 GPA. Preference is given to students in the IMT program.

The MCCF Edward Reddig Scholarship
for current-year Greenville High School graduates enrolled in a business program.

The MCCF Grace M. Sagendorf Scholarship
for students who have demonstrated good citizenship and completed 15 credits with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

The MCCF Kenneth & Jacalyn Smith Scholarship
for an MCC student.

The MCCF Herbert N. Stoutenburg Scholarship
for current-year graduates of an in-district high school who hold a minimum 3.0 high school GPA and are pursuing a mathematics or science major.

The MCC Board of Trustees Scholarship
for current-year high school, alternative high school or adult education graduates who have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

The MCCF Camille Widdifield Memorial Scholarship
for current or returning students who graduated from Greenville High School, hold a minimum 2.0 GPA and demonstrate good citizenship.
