News and Current Information
In the past 3 years the nature trails at MCC have undergone many changes. We have added several new items including more trails, an outdoor classroom, a dock, kiosks, more marker posts, bluebird, duck and bat houses as well as started a prairie restoration project. We have published new maps and brochures and placed them in brochure boxes at some of the trailheads as well as at the local libraries. All of this work has been done by MCC student and staff volunteers as well as members of the local community. Many of the supplies and/or assistance are donations from Ken Lehman, the Stanley Ash Foundation, the DNR as well as local business and organizations like Big L Lumber and Pheasants Forever. Please come and hike on our new and improved trails!
