Join us for our 2024 Chicago Trip! Get ready to explore the vibrant city of Chicago, IL, USA with us. This in-person event promises an unforgettable experience filled with sightseeing. Immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of the Windy City while creating lasting memories with fellow travelers. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to discover all that Chicago has to offer.
Pickup is at 6:00 a.m. at Montcalm Community College's Sidney Campus. Attendees will arrive back at the Sidney campus at 10:00 p.m. Attendees will have two choices to visit the Field Museum of Chicago, Art Institute of Chicago, Museum of Science and Industry, Shedd Aquarium, or Alder Planetarium.
Trip cost does not include admission into any attractions or food. You are welcome to bring your own food on the bus. Most attractions have small bistros within them that you will be able to purchase food. Please be sure to wear a good pair of walking shoes.

Alumni & Friends Choir Concert - Great Stories told in Song

The Montcalm Community College Alumni & Friends Choir will present a wide variety of music related to classic books and movies during their spring concert, “Great Stories told in Song.” The concert is Sunday, April 28 at 4 p.m. in the gymnasium on MCC’s Sidney campus. Admission is free and open to the public, so come and enjoy!

One Book One County Montcalm Kick Off Event

Attend the One Book opening luncheon to hear how to “Get Outside and Get Happy” from Brooke Whipple on Tuesday, May 21 at 12 noon. Brooke’s enthusiasm for experiencing wild places and eating great food on a campfire is second only to sharing it with others in hopes they too can venture out to challenge themselves. She has appeared on three TV shows: “Yukon River Run” on the National Geographic Channel, and “ALONE season 4” and “ALONE season 5” on the History Channel. Her popular YouTube channel “Girl in the Woods” has over half a million subscribers. This event is on MCC's Sidney campus in rooms D303-305 in the Beatrice E. Doser Building.
