December Noncredit Classes

 

Learn creative writing, CPR. welding, and first aid in MCC’s December noncredit courses.

“Creative Writing: Flash Fiction Seminar” is a three-hour session on Dec. 3 that will help writers generate new material as they develop and sharpen skills of story-telling. The class meets from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on MCC’s Sidney campus and costs $25. 

“CPR/BLS Health Care Provider” prepares a wide variety of health care professionals in first aid, CPR, and AED use. The class is on Dec. 5 from 6 to 9 p.m. on MCC’s Sidney campus and costs $65. 

“MIG Weld at Home” is a course in which students will learn the setup and proper use MIG (GMAW) and flux-core arc welding (FCAW) equipment. The class runs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Dec. 9 at MCC’s Greenville campus. The cost is $49. 

“First Aid” covers first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, and environmental emergencies. The class is on Dec. 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. on MCC’s Sidney campus. The cost is $65
