Six students were honored April 11 for their essays in MCC's Dreamin's Free contest. The winning essay was written by Ethan Hetherington, of Edmore. He received a $200 cash prize. Second place was awarded to Alison Skogseth, of Greenville, who received a $150 cash prize. Third place finishers included Alyssa Barret, of Middleton and Hannah DeVries, of Greenville, who each received a $75 cash prize.
