MCC continues to require wearing masks

While we are sensitive to the Supreme Court’s recent ruling, Montcalm Community College is continuing to require that all students, employees and visitors wear masks while in the college’s buildings.

“This is out of an abundance of caution to help ensure the health and safety of everyone present at the college,” said MCC President Dr. Stacy H. Young.

“With nearly 1,500 students this semester, to date, we have only had two positive COVID-19 cases at the college. We largely credit this to maintaining high standards for preventative measures including wearing masks, increased deep cleaning throughout our buildings, the use of hand sanitizer and encouraging frequent hand washing.”

We ask that you all please be respectful of the situation and the procedure the college is following to help reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.
