April noncredit class offerings at MCC

 

Learn watercolor painting, stained glass, world religions, farm welding and about dogs and cats during Montcalm Community College’s April noncredit courses.  

Advance registration is required for all courses. Some courses may have a list of materials, or a textbook may be required. Visit montcalm.edu/career-development for course details or a link to register online or call MCC’s Greenville campus at 989-328-1012 for more information.  

Discuss the origins and tenets of world religions, examines the history, beliefs and practices of them during “Survey of World Religions.” The course meets on Mondays, April 1-22, from 5 to 7 p.m. on MCC’s Greenville campus. The cost is $75. 

Learn how to paint flowers and trees in “The World of Watercolors: Flowers & Trees,” on April 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. on MCC’s Greenville campus. The cost is $15. 

“The World of Watercolors Bundle” combines a series of painting classes into a bundle. The course is on Mondays, April 1-22, from 6 to 8 p.m. on MCC’s Greenville campus. The cost is $50. 

Celebrate spring and create a painting during “Coffee and Canvas Workshop” on April 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on MCC’s Greenville campus. The cost is $30. 

Youths ages 12 to 16 can learn how to maintain and fix their own farm equipment during “Farm Welding – Youth,” April 8-11 from 3 to 5 p.m. on MCC’s Greenville campus. The cost is $150. 

Learn how to paint people and animals in “The World of Watercolors: People & Animals,” on April 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. on MCC’s Greenville campus. The cost is $15. 

Explore the behaviors and communications of cats and dogs and learn how to better care for your pets during “Dogs and Cats 101.” The course is on April 13 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Pawformance Grooming Salon in Greenville. The cost is $20. 

Explore foods you love that love you back with a fresh and satisfying springtime menu during “Whole Food Plant-Based Eating for Springtime” on April 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on MCC’s Greenville campus. The cost is $39.
