Student Services Center

The Admissions Office is your first stop at Montcalm Community College. We will assist you with the application and enrollment process, issue you a student number, and other MCC materials; and will be able to answer all of your questions or direct you to the MCC staff member who has the answer. MCC’s Admissions Office is located in the Student Services Department in the upper level of the Donald C. Burns Administration/Library Building on the college’s Sidney campus.

The Student Success Center expands the college’s services by creating a full-service center geared toward curriculum support for students. The center provides a variety of testing services, academic counseling, accessibility services, free tutoring, supplemental instruction and more. It is located in the upper level of the Donald C. Burns Administration/Library Building on the college’s Sidney campus.

Shop our Bookstore that is currently being operated by Follett and you’ll find a complete line of textbooks. You’ll also find an extensive assortment of art supplies, backpacks, computer supplies, calculators, electronics, school supplies, snacks, fresh coffee and more. It is located in the Activities Building on the college’s Sidney campus.

The Counseling and Advising Office is available to students with issues relating to academic advising, personal and career counseling. We are here to assist you in your college experience and help you make the important decisions to achieve your goals. Our counselors are master’s prepared and hold licenses as Professional Counselors (LPC), and our advisors are specially trained in their “areas of study” and can provide information about transfer credits, program changes, and college policy and procedure. It is located in our Student Success Center in the upper level of the Donald C. Burns Administration/Library Building on the college’s Sidney campus.

Accessibility services are available in our Student Success Center. Our licensed counselors respond to accessibility issues and academic accommodation requests on behalf of the college. The office serves both prospective and current students who have documented disabilities, and who request resources on the basis of a disabling condition or characteristic. The office is located in our Student Success Center in the upper level of the Donald C. Burns Administration/Library Building on the college’s Sidney campus.

MCC’s Financial Aid Office is committed to serving our diverse community of learners by informing them of their financial options and providing access to resources in a fair and compassionate manner, so that obstacles are removed and educational goals can be accomplished. The Financial Aid Office authorizes bookstore charges for sponsored and financial aid students, generates bills and accepts payments, distributes guaranteed student loan checks and processes debt repayment plan. It is located in the upper level of the Donald C. Burns Administration/Library Office on MCC’s Sidney campus.

Student Services Office

The Student Services Office offers the following services: registration (online and on-campus), processing adds and drops, transcript requests, evaluating transcripts, graduation audits, issuing diplomas and enrollment verifications. Recruitment Office

Potential students may meet with MCC’s recruitment director to learn more about MCC, its programs and take a tour of campus. Visit the Student Services Office in the upper level of the Donald C. Burns Administration/Library Office on MCC’s Sidney campus.

Student-sponsored activities include club sports, excursions, support groups, fund raisers, lectures, intramurals, self-help seminars, leadership development and musical and dramatic performance groups.

MCC’s Veterans Services Office will help you access your veteran’s benefits. We can provide academic training that will assist you in entering the civilian workforce. We welcome all veterans, their dependents and spouses, disabled veterans, Guards and Reservists to use the veteran’s benefits they are eligible for. The office is located in the upper level of the Donald C. Burns Administration/Library Office on MCC’s Sidney campus.
