Montcalm Community College’s Women’s Volleyball Team will play their first home match Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m. against North Central Michigan College in the gymnasium in the Activities Building on MCC’s Sidney campus.

Tickets can be purchased at the door. Adults cost $5, children ages 6 to 12 and Seniors 60+, Military with an ID are $3, and children 5 and under are free. Season tickets can be purchased online at  montcalmcenturions.com.

Coach Kara Youngs said she’s looking forward to the excitement of the first home game.

“I’m looking forward to seeing the community come in to watch the team for the first time since bringing athletics back and to be able to play in front of the community on the new floor in the new environment,” she said.

Youngs said she loves the team’s chemistry and they always seem to have fun.

Concessions to purchase will be available during the match in the Woodside Café. Pizza, pretzels, popcorn, hot dogs, candy, pop, water, and Gatorade are on the menu.

After the match, the team will sign team posters in the Woodside Café.
