Apprenticeships at MCC
What is Apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is a structured training program that blends practical, on-the-job experience with classroom instruction and mentorship. It’s designed to help individuals build specialized skills and gain real-world knowledge, preparing them for long-term success in their chosen career.
What is a Registered Apprenticeship Program?
A Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) is a nationally recognized training model approved by the U.S. Department of Labor or a State Apprenticeship Agency. These programs follow rigorous standards to ensure high-quality learning through paid work experience, classroom instruction, and mentorship. RAPs offer a clear path to career advancement and may also provide access to federal support and funding opportunities.
