IM Exploring: AI in Careers
Exploring Future Careers. Discovering New Possibilities.
IM Exploring AI in Careers is an interactive career exploration experience designed for all seventh-grade students accross Ionia and Montcalm counties.
Through keynote presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and career-focused breakout sessions, students will explore how artificial intelligence is influencing industries ranging from healthcare and manufacturing to business, communications, public service, and skilled trades.
Hosted by Montcalm Community College and supported by educational, workforce, and community partners, the event is designed to spark curiosity, expand awareness of future opportunities, and help students connect their interests to educational and career pathways.
Aligned with the Michigan Development Model, students will explore emerging careers, learn about responsible and ethical AI use, and gain a better understanding of how education can help prepare them for a rapidly evolving workforce.
