Join the Villas Legacy

The Carbonelli Villas is an amazing, beautiful new addition to our Sidney Campus opening in fall 2026. Named in honor of long-time MCC Trustee Karen Carbonelli and the Carbonelli family, the initiative mirrors the family’s passion for more people to become educated and engaged at MCC.

As part of the college’s 5-Year CORE strategic plan, student housing will create opportunity through education by addressing housing insecurity and affordability needs, increase enrollment, and enrich the student experience by promoting a positive on-campus culture that differentiates MCC from peer institutions.

The Villas can accommodate up to 84 residents. Designed with pre-furnished rooms and intentional spaces, each floor was thoughtfully curated to create positive academic and social experiences. Each Villa houses 6–8 students in shared bedrooms with communal living, dining, study, bath, and laundry amenities. This approach fosters a strong sense of community while also providing privacy and personal space.

Corridor commons expand the student experience beyond individual units, offering flexible areas for group gatherings, studying, dining, or simply relaxing. The overall design is flexible, personal, and supportive of the student lifestyle.
