YEAR-ROUND

  • IM Safe Child Advocacy Center is looking for volunteers with evening availability. Possible volunteer opportunities include reception desk, fundraising, filing, scanning/shredding documents, cleaning, observing and providing child care, creating flyers, and social media. Applicants must fill out a volunteer application and pass a background check. Email hlenz@imsafecac for more information.

  • VITA - Volunteer Income Tax Assistance offers free tax help to people who generally make $60,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English-speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. Volunteer opportunities include tax preparers and intake specialists.
