Join the MCC Green Council during the Heritage Village Festival for a community swap event focused on reducing waste, supporting local families and giving gently used items a second life.
The event is on Friday, August 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Robert E. Marston Pavilion (near the Greenhouse, past Heritage Village and the All That Flutters Pollinator Garden). Beginning at 10 a.m., community members may donate clean, gently used items and receive early access to shop available items. Beginning at 11 a.m., the event opens to everyone. Participants may take as many items as they can fit in a box or bag provided by MCC. During the Final Free-for-All from 2:30–3 p.m., all limits are removed and remaining items are free to take.
The Green Council especially welcomes donations of:
Back-to-school supplies and children's items
Children's books, toys and clothing
Professional and workplace attire
Help keep useful items out of landfills while supporting our community. We look forward to seeing you there!
