April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. To contribute to the cause, Montcalm Community College will serve as a donation location for Purses with a Purpose. The Michigan State Police Lakeview Post is collaborating with RAVE (Relief After Violent Encounter) to collect new or gently used purses and bags filled with various comfort items.

These donations will benefit RAVE and be distributed to survivors of sexual assault. The donation period will run from April 1 to April 25 and there will be two donation boxes available — one at the recreation desk in the Activities Building on the Sidney campus and the other at the Ash TLC building on the Greenville campus.

Suggested donation items include:
