MCC Arts and Humanities Instructor Seth Sutton will explore the story of Thanksgiving through an indigenous lens, challenging long-held national myths and uncovering deeper truths. Grounded in Indigenous history, perspectives, and voices, the discussion will examine how the traditional Thanksgiving story was constructed, what it omits, and how educators, families, and communities can teach this history with honesty and respect.
