MCCF Legacy Scholarships
By completing one short application, applicants will be considered for almost all MCCF endowed scholarships, except for a few essay applications which can be found below.
What to know before you start:
- Student eligibility: These scholarships are available for students planning to attend MCC in the 2026-2027 academic year beginning in the fall 2026 semester.
- Deadline: This application will close March 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Initial award notifications should be made in April 2026.
- Access: To access the application, you need to complete an MCC admissions application and have a student ID number. If you have questions, contact the MCC Admissions Office.
- Completing: The application will take about 15 minutes to complete and must be done in one sitting. You cannot save the application and go back to finish later.
- Matching: By answering the application questions presented to you, you will be considered for different scholarship opportunities.
- FAFSA: You do not need a completed FAFSA at the time you do this scholarship application; however, all scholarship applicants are strongly encouraged to complete the 2026-2027 FAFSA which is open now. MCCF scholarships that note financial need as an eligibility requirement will require a completed FAFSA for award consideration. Completing the FAFSA opens doors to federal and state programs like Pell Grants, the Community College Guarantee, and Michigan Reconnect, helping more students afford tuition-free or reduced-cost education. Please contact our Financial Aid office to discuss FAFSA-related questions and to explore all options in paying for college.
- Confirmation: After you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation email.
