MCC offers degrees, certificates and job training programs that will help prepare you for a variety of careers, for transfer to a four-year institution, for advancement in the workforce, or that may be taken just for fun. Excellent academics, dedicated instructors, state-of-the-art technology and small class sizes combine to give MCC students a high-quality education at an exceptional value. Formats include traditional classroom instruction, online and hybrid courses.
Dual Enrollment
The Dual Enrollment program at Montcalm Community College allows you to enroll in up to 10 college classes throughout your high school career. Successful completion of a college course grants you college credit as well as satisfies one of your high school graduation requirements, either a core requirement or an elective requirement, depending on the college course taken.
Early College
At Early College, students benefit from a personalized learning environment that fosters the development of critical thinking skills within an innovative curriculum that promotes excellence in the fields of math, English, social studies and science. Students will spend their entire school day at Montcalm Community College for grades 11-13.
Noncredit Courses
Course topics change as the needs of the community change and may include computer instruction, management training, budgeting and financial planning, business courses, crocheting, social networking, art, music, a variety of health and fitness offerings and more.
LifeLong Learners
LifeLong Learners (LLL) was organized in 1998 to provide academic experiences for area seniors. Membership is open to those 18 years of age and older regardless of their formal education. Two events are held in the fall and two in the spring each year.
