Student Success Center 


MCC's Student Success Center expands the college's services by creating a full-service center geared toward curriculum support for students.

Student Success Center services include: 


  • Academic Skills Assessment (ACCUPLACER) to help students determine their readiness for college-level courses
  • Academic counseling and advising
  • Services for students needing accommodations including note-takers, interpreters and books on tape
  • Free academic coaching, from both professionals and peers, to help students through difficult classes
  • Supplemental instruction, which partners near peer success leaders within classrooms with small groups of students
  • A Testing Center where instructors can send students to take proctored make-up and online exams
  • Proctored testing for distance learning
  • Work-Keys® – Job Skills assessment for those seeking National Career Readiness Certification and Proficiency Certificate for Teacher’s Assistants

MCC’s Accessibility Services assists students in overcoming barriers so they can focus on their education.

ACCUPLACER, ACT, GED and Work-Keys testing are administered in MCC’s testing centers, with locations on the college’s Sidney and Greenville campuses.

MCC offers free academic coaching assistance to its currently enrolled students who are experiencing academic difficulty.
