Experiential Learning

Discover learning beyond the classroom.

MCC's experiential learning programs provide opportunities to gain real-world experience, explore new environments, and connect what you're learning to your future goals. Whether through study abroad, study away, field trips, community service, internships, research, or other hands-on experiences, you'll find opportunities to learn, grow, and make the most of your time at MCC.

Study Abroad

Study Abroad programs give students the opportunity to earn college credit while living and learning in another country. These experiences allow students to explore new cultures, gain a global perspective, develop valuable personal and professional skills, and create lifelong memories, all while continuing their education.

Study Away

Study Away programs provide opportunities for students to travel within the United States and learn through immersive, hands-on experiences that connect classroom learning with the real world.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering gives students the opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience outside the classroom. Through community service, students can develop leadership and communication skills, build connections, explore career interests, and enhance their resumes while supporting causes they care about.
