MCC Alumni & Friends Choir
The choir is directed by MCC Emeritus Performing Arts Coordinator Val Vander Mark. MCC’s Alumni & Friends Choir is a community and student non-audition choir that welcomes everyone, high school age and older, who has an interest in singing in a choral group.
MCC's Alumni & Friends Choir is funded by the Montcalm Community College Foundation Stanley and Blanche Ash College Community Enhancement Fund, which supports the college in developing and enhancing career training, educational opportunities, programs and services for students, alumni and citizens of the college community.
Fall 2026 Concert
Sounds of the Sixties
When: Saturday, November 21 at 3 p.m.
Where: Greenville High School Performing Arts Center
The MCC Alumni & Friends Choir will be performing “Sounds of the Sixties” on November 21, at 3 p.m. at the Greenville High School Performing Arts Center.
All singers high school age and older are welcome to sing in the choir, which will meet for seven Saturday morning rehearsals beginning Saturday, October 3, from 10 am to 12:30 pm, at MCC’s Greenville campus in the Ash/TLC building, room G129. The eighth and final rehearsal will be the evening of Friday, November 20, onstage at Greenville High School, with the concert on Saturday, November 21, at 3 pm at the Greenville High School Performing Arts Center.
Singers will be expected to attend at least 6 of the 8 rehearsals, with the final evening rehearsal being required. Please register in advance to ensure there is enough music for everyone. Music will be available beginning September 1 at the Ash TLC Building on MCC's Greenville campus.
