MiTransfer Pathway: Biology

The MiTransfer Pathway: Biology Associate of Science program is intended to set students up to transfer for a bachelor’s degree to a participating college or university through the MiTransfer Pathways Project agreement.

Students interested in pursuing this program are strongly encouraged to meet with an MCC counselor in addition to a counselor from the college or university they intend to transfer to determine their plan.

PLEASE NOTE:

This program is only for students already in the program using the 24-25 catalog and prior.

Montcalm Community College (MCC) will be exiting the MiTransfer Pathway Biology Associate of Science agreements starting with the 2025-2026 catalog.

For current students who are enrolled in this program and have declared it by July 25, 2025, MCC will honor the program requirements for up to five years based on your catalog of record. However, please note that while we will make every effort to offer the necessary courses, we cannot guarantee their availability. You may need to attend another institution for some courses. If this is not feasible, you will be transitioned to the Associate of Science and Arts program to ensure you can graduate.

We strongly encourage you to schedule a meeting with an MCC Counselor or Advisor to discuss your options and plan your academic path accordingly.  For an appointment, please call 989-328-1264.
