Behavioral Health Job Training Program
Where To Go From Here
The Behavioral Health Job Training Program introduces students to foundational concepts in applied behavior analysis and behavioral support practices used in educational, community-based, and clinical settings. As part of the program, students complete training toward the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential, followed by a supervised, hands-on practicum experience. Additional requirements through an external provider are necessary to earn the credential. For more information about the RBT credential, visit the Behavior Analyst Certification Board® (BACB®) website.
Why This Degree
The program prepares students with entry-level skills for behavioral support roles such as Behavior Technician or Student Support Specialist, with median wages of $36,780 in Michigan. O*Net indicates that many jobs within Behavioral Health have a “Bright Outlook” for employment possibilities.
